Tech is hitting a breaking point where brilliant, one-of-a-kind minds are discovering you can monetize anything. Imagine booting up your computer one day with a $20 prompt to update. You’d shit a brick before logically concluding that life sucks.

Unity became one of the latest companies in this trend to attempt monetization of every aspect by introducing a “runtime fee” for installs. Now, the exciting part is that this fee is applied at 200,000 installs or enterprise at a million for personal use.
