Should You Illegally Stream Content?
You think I’d write a blog and give a clear answer? Nah.
Legally speaking, don’t illegally stream content. Fines, jail, and ban from Internet isn’t worth it, how would you read my blogs otherwise? Or worse a virus steals all your information.
That being said, illegal streaming, pirating, and other questionable shit rules the web. Want that new album? Try that new game? Catch the fights? Everything on the web is available via illegal methods, should you do it though?
Financial
Surface level, illegal streaming seems harm free. Save $60 from ridiculous PPV prices? Found it free in a different country? No better way to help without helping yourself. Think about what you can do with that saved money? But were you going to spend it anyways? Fuck it, freedom baby.
On the other hand, what about the job creators of the world? I can’t take money out of their multi-story yachts. Unfortunately for them, not many working class people care. The price of treating people like livestock.
Problem isn’t taking money from the rich like an internet Robinhood hero. It’s who ends up losing out money the trickle down nature of companies. Losses on these streams will be delegated to the performers, camera staff, sound guys, commentators and…
